Cancellation Policy

At Montana Iron & Pine, we understand that sometimes plans change. To accommodate our customers while maintaining the efficiency of our operations, we have established the following cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellation Window:

    • Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of placing it. We will provide a full refund for orders canceled within this timeframe.

    • For your cancellation request to be processed correctly, please ensure the following:

    • The cancellation request must be received within 24 hours of placing your order., the "Timeline"

    • The request must be made in writing so we have a record of the date and time of cancellation.

    • Send your request through our "Contact" form, or emailed to: montanaironpine@gmail.com 

    • In the subject line of your email, please include "Order Cancellation" to clearly indicate your intent to cancel.

    • Customers are welcome to follow up immediately thereafter with a phone call to (385) 276-2114. However, in order to be effective, we must have received written documentation from the consumer within the "Timeline".

    • Cancellations over the phone will not be effective or honored.

  2. Personalized Items:

    • Personalized items, such as monograms or custom designs, cannot be canceled once production has begun. If you wish to cancel a personalized order, please do so within the 24-hour window to avoid any charges.

  3. Order Processing:

    • After the 24-hour cancellation window, orders enter the production phase and cannot be canceled. This is due to our make-to-order policy, where each item is custom-made and cut specifically for you.

  4. Refunds:

    • If a cancellation is approved within the specified window, a full refund will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to process.

  5. Exceptions:

    • In rare cases where production has not yet started beyond the 24-hour window, we may be able to accommodate a cancellation request. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

    • Items that are marked "In Stock" are typically ready to ship immediately and are generally processed within the 24-hour timeline. Therefore, these items cannot be canceled or refunded and will be subject to our all sales are final policy.

By Purchasing From Us, You Agree to Our Terms and Conditions

Disclaimer of Warranties: The item or services we offer are sold "as is," and the seller disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Buyer Responsibility: The buyer has an obligation to conduct due diligence and ask detailed questions prior to purchasing merchandise, files, or services. This includes reviewing all available information, understanding the product specifications, and clarifying any uncertainties with the seller. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the purchased items meet their needs and expectations.

By making a purchase, which is defined as completing the payment process for any merchandise, files, or services offered on our website, the buyer acknowledges that they have had ample time to review and understand our policies thoroughly. This contract comes into force at the moment the purchase is completed. Once a purchase is made, the buyer agrees to the terms and conditions, including our policies on returns, cancellations, and limitations of liability.

 

In the event of any questions or disputes regarding the definitions of terms used in this agreement, our definitions shall prevail.

Finality of Sale: All sales are final with the exception that Merchandise damaged during shipping will be subject to our Shipping policy, and cancellations will be subject to our Cancellation policy.

Limitation of Liability: The seller's liability to the buyer is limited solely to the purchase price paid for the item. Under no circumstances shall the seller be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from or in connection with the purchase of the item.  The buyer is responsible for their own legal fees or any other fees incurred.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: By purchasing, you agree that shipping may take 30 to 60 days, though most orders arrive within 3 weeks. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and will be incurred by the buyer. Please check with your country's customs office to determine these additional costs before bidding or buying. The seller has no obligation to cover these expenses, and we will not falsify customs documents.

CHOICE OF LAW: By purchasing this item, the buyer agrees that this purchase represents a binding contract and that this Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the law of the State of Montana. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that failure to read these contractual terms and conditions does not exempt them from their obligations under this contract. By proceeding with this transaction, the buyer is presumed to have accepted and consented to all terms and conditions, regardless of whether they have read them thoroughly. The buyer waives any right to have the case litigated in any other state. Any litigation arising from this agreement will be in the Eleventh District Court at 920 South Main Suite 300, Kalispell, MT 59901.
